Interesting event I thought but the kids had a great time. New park, new playground and stuff for the kids to do. Perfect weather too.

Nico's First Recital - Kindergarten

Nico's first recital, the whole kindergarten class practiced for months for this 'concert' as the kids called it. "Sounds a little fishy" was the best concert ever! The kids did great, they knew all the songs and moves. The concert was held at the North Thurston Performance Theather, so this was a big deal for Nico. He got to be on stage, while we watched from our seats. This was the most exciting part for Nico, him on stage!

Nico never even told us a line from any of the songs, we tried and tried to convince to sing at least one song for us before the concert but he had to wait. It was worth it!

Nico's Hospital Stay May 2009

My poor little man. Here are a few pictures of Nico when he had this terrible hives like all over his body. He was finally diagnosed with HSP after spending one night at St. Peter's Hospital and a day and half at Tacoma's Mary Bridge, Children's hospital.

Nico's new pet iguana

Yep, Nico finally got his new pet. It's a baby iguana and he named it XLR8 (after one of the characters from Ben 10). The iguana is actually pretty cute... right now!

Nico will be 100% in charge of this iguana, Mommy will not be cleaning up or picking up poop!

WOW…. am I lucky or what?  This so very awesome looking blog is possible thanks to Tracey.  You are so awesome, what a surprise to see this when I signed in this evening…. I LOVE IT!!! THANK YOU, THANK YOU.

Thanks to Tracey I will now be able to insert a picture on my page and make it as big or small as I want...yay! She told me to download the Windows Live Writer which allows you to manipulate stuff a little better.

Nico and Carson

This is Nico's friend Carson, he lives right across the street from us and they are "buds", they are also in the same class and they both spend a lot of time at each other's house. It's really neat! We love Carson's parents too! :-) and Carson's sister Shelby is my little sweetie.

Sunny day in Wa?

These pictures were taken on April 19th, 2009, a sunny day in Washington for a change. Of course it only lasted 2 days, then we had another 2 sunny days and now back to the normal rainy, grey, cloudy days. Oh well.... the rays felt good that day.

English or Spanish?

I'm trying to decide if I'm going to do this in Spanish or English, maybe both, huh?

New project? A blog?

Let's see if I can keep up with this now. I'm already involved in too many projects but everyone keeps telling me I should have a blog, mainly to see what Nico is up to, so here it is!
